you might think that i'm cage fanatic... this is the fourth presentation of mr cage since may 2, but i'm just beginning to listen to the music of john cage... i've been listening to sonatas and interludes for prepared piano for a few years, but the rest these are recordings i've found recently in the used bins at amoeba on haight st...

graham connah - my god has fleas


graham's first sour note six recording... features trevor dunn, ben goldberg, eliott kavee, rob sudduth & marty wehner... if you were around san francisco in the mid/late 1990s, you may have been lucky enough to see this band--or a lot of other great bands--perform at bruno's... these days, you might catch the latest incarnation or one of graham's other groups at the revolution cafe. however, if you go to bruno's now, you might find a dj, the jazz mafia or something equally offensive... it would be cool if the real mafia paid them a visit
